They are the best out there. Same buttons on the 60 gig.Easy to delete songs. My wife and I put a ton of songs and SNL videos on it. Solid and did not break any in the year we had the 30 gig. We have almost dropped ours a few times, but it only fell in our laps so far.Radio seems nice. Don't use it much unless in the mood for news.Be sure to charge it before your trip and it will keep you going on your next long flight, train, or car ride. Helps us fly long distances if the in flight movie sucks. We used to have the 30 gig, but it got stolen somewhere along our travels. Have to look around online. We like the buttons on the right.
We uploaded some double copies of songs and it was intuitive. We have not tried the voice recording part of it.The only negative thing is the player could use some bumps on the sides. (^:= Too bad they don't make them anymore. I really like this Zen 60gig. Got the 60 gig now and it is heavier, but I have cargo pockets so it fits just fine. Not sure if we will get a screen protector or case for it or not. It is pretty slippery smooth outer shell.
maybe your best travel friend. it is the best way you can organize your music, in all the ways you imagine, know many details that you will never in other product, excellent quality, and more than that. 60gb is not enough The Creative was one of the best options. I really love this player, MORE THAN AN IPOD. the only detail I NEED A CREATIVE WITH 160GB.
For some reason this version of the Zen only shows up in half the resolution (it does take up the entire screen like my older model did). It didn't matter to me because I wont be walking around with it in my pocket too much. The key reason I bought the Zen Vision is because of the A/V out cable. Overall it seems to not freeze as much as my older version although the older version hardly ever froze. I figured I'd go for the 60 gig version because my music collection has been growing drastically recently. It has a good bunch of features also. I can connect it to my car's in-dash DVD player (Alpine IVA-W200) and have it show up on the screen.
If your not looking for an ultra portable MP3 player this one is really nice. I bought this after my 30 GB Zen Vision was stolen from my car. When I received this the first thing i thought was "Wow, this is huge." Its seems like its twice as thick as my previous one and it is longer (due to the wide screen). This makes it alot harder to see the writing of what song is playing and such.
Creative will not repair. Buy an IPod, at least they can fix what they sell. I bought this player a year ago, recently the screen got cracked. I was told to go to the online store and buy another one, yeah right.
(MY OPINION) If you sell a product, with a warranty, back it up.fix it or replace it with a equal product, not something much, much less in quality. I am still in the middle of trying to get some sort of satisfaction from them. But break it and you are SOL. And dealing with the Creative people, OMG. If you have the player, already, great I loved it, the best player I found, but pricey.
I kept a 5 rating for the player itself,(when working) and I give the Creative customer support the lowest rating. Creative no longer makes this, and that means your warranty is meaningless. That took some time, figuring out the website to send it in. They won't fix/replace it with what I bought, but they offered me two Vision M 30 GB. I had one for under a year, and the headphone jack stopped working properly. I love this player.
So I sent in the to get it fixed. I refused, I do not like the M at all.
